NAME: Bettina
aka "Tina"; "Teeney Weeney"
Owner: Jennifer J. Stabile

"My 15-1/2 year old Peke, Bettina, aka "Tina", or "Teeney Weeney", always looked like a St. Bernard because of her coloring and has the spirit of the "big" dog. She has been recently diagnosed with an enlarged heart and a mild case of leaky valve but takes no medication except for a sporadic cough. She walks just fine only slower and eats but less. She still enjoys short walks and rides in the doggie stroller. I owned her mother and father so she was born at home and had no stress of being in kennels or pet shops, like her mom and dad. I think she looks great for her age and to me still looks and acts like a puppy. I love this breed and will always have them as long as I live! Thank you for posting her picture!"

My little white angel passed on August 18, 2003. His name was Bizkit. He was smart, beautiful and the light in my life.
Pepper came to me after my friends and family saw my greiving over my Bizkit for so long, and got together and decided I needed something to ease my pain, and I thank them for that..... This little black angel has had my heart for 5 years and I cherrish him everyday. He loves to run up the mountains, chase birds he could never catch, play with his squeakies and sleeps with me every night. I love him so much.
Chance, the Cream colored Peke, was rescued on the side of the road after some ruthless grandchildren refused to deal with him after their grandfather passed away, so they chunked him out of a car window in a trash bag on a Sunday, and I found him and nursed him until I could get him to my vet on Monday. My vet removed his eye and he had a broken rib from impact. I had him for 5 wonderful years.

NAME: Fortune's "Cookie"
Owner:
Tracey & Doug Stockman, Virginia
Cookie is a 2 year-old cream & white Peke who has a lot of personality (it shows in these pictures of him!.) He is a medium energy dog with a very active lifestyle. He loves to swim and kayak with his "momma" (Tracey). He is the host of his very own small dog play group called Small Dog R.O.M.P. He loves to run in his very own dog park with his buddies and just hang out with his friends. Cookie loves all things - other dogs, cats, kids and babies. His favorite animal is the Bison.
He goes crazy in the car when we drive by them! Cookie discovered Bison on our vacation in Yellow Stone National Park. The Chinese consider Cookie to be sacred because he has the mark of Buddha on his forehead. Cookie plays fetch everyday and loves to go on walks in the morning and evenings. Cookie loves affection and treats!

NAME: Kizzy and Scarlett
Owner:
Gary & Kathy Ellis, Montrose, Colorado
Yes, we did get a new puppy. She is absolutely wonderful. She has the best temperment and is so much fun. She is really a lover and pretty fearless. She has made a new dog out of our other one who had gotten quite grumpy since our other one died 6 months ago today. They play and play and does our hearts good to watch. She will be 3 months old on Sunday. Her birthdate was 6/17/06. The first 3 pictures are of the puppy who has gone through 3 names since we have had her. We have finally settled on Kizzy or Kizzie (we think). We also thought of Elly and Katie, but Kizzy seems to fit her.
The one of Prissy is the one who passed away 6 months ago at 15 1/2 years. She was the best dog we ever had. Scarlett is the other one who will be 9 in October. She is our sweetheart but has a lousy attitude. She has had 2 back surgeries and if there is an illness to come along she manages to get it. Like I said, she has been like a new dog since we got the puppy.

NAME: Romeo
Owner:
Christina Fernandez, New York
Romeo is a 9 year old black Peke with a personality of a young one. Although he sleeps throughout most of the day when he goes outside he runs around like there's no tomorrow. In my house we call him "Fatty" because as he's gotten older he has put on some weight (LOL). The chubbier the happier as I see it. His bubblegum pink tongue is always out for the most part & he loves to be petted & to return the favor he always seems to give a gentle but messy and sure enough wet nudge. He loves attention and he loves anyone who will just lay down and take a snooze with him as well.
